ITV电视台将改编著名长诗《Beowulf》为电视剧，暂定13集，詹姆斯·多默执笔并监制。该剧将于明年4月开拍，演员阵容待定。 据悉，ITV的新剧将于明年四月开机，题目暂定《最后的王国》（the Last Kingdom），演员阵容待定。。儿子打算把家里的老藏獒卖给乡上的狗贩子，父亲坚持留住这只老狗，并在路上追回准备把狗卖掉的儿子与那只藏獒。接着，老人把狗藏在山上。然而放到山上的藏獒再次被别人卖到狗贩子的手里，即将被运往内地作为宠物。儿子为了要回藏獒与狗贩子发生冲突，最后被警察拘留，年迈的父亲无奈中不得不做出艰难的决定。。An ex-con gets released early from prison only to be forced into an undercover unit of six men and on his first day the other five are all killed.
